Not only it carries the biggest ram in the world, 4GB,
it also has dual sim with 4G support,
very good camera - front and back,
fantastic sound [the sound is literally loud and clear],
amazing screen [1080p Full HD],
sexy back [the backdoor battery cover is really sexy with metallic brush finish,
3000mAh [average stamina only], but with fast charging technology which actually works,
very snappy intel quad core hyperthreading processor [on par with the much more expensive snapdragon 800],
with the price range below 400USD.
The first day, I personally was worried about the battery life, but after 3-4 days usage, with disciplined charging routine, the battery stamina significantly increased. [ what I did was for the first two days, I left it being charged for an hour after it reached 100%, an hour NOT MORE ]. After a while, the 3000 mAh battery felt stable, delivering 14 hours of normal usage. [You can actually extend the battery life significantly using wifi connection, at least 20% longer]
Camera showed a very nice detailed image, not excellent, but really good. And the flash has a dual natural Video recording is "standardly" good.
The 4G connectivity did not, however, drain the battery too much, personally I was not really bothered. Compared with H+ connectivity I almost did not feel the difference, ALMOST.
With the 4GB ram, the zenUI eats up to 1,7GB, leaving the free ram to apprx : 2,2GB fresh out of the box. That's the punchline of the smartphone, monstrous RAM. Multitasking is a piece of cake for the phone.
Gaming wise, the GPU is not something to brag, altough, it can easly run EVERY game there is in the market right now, fluently, smoothly, and with that big of ram, you can actually play multiple games SIMULTANEOUSLY. I cannot guarantee that the GPU can live up to the gaming standard for the next 2 years.
The features of the Lollipop based zenUI did not really impressed me, but nevertheless did not in ANYWAY disappointed me at all. Very fluid, has double tap wake up, gesture control [example: you write c on the off screen, and the camera function will automatically be turned on.
All in All, this phone is AWESOME. With the money you spend, you get the performance justly. In every way possible this phone is not a ripoff.
ASUS did well with this smartphone, and it can easily climb into one of the most popular phones in the world.
